Can we keep him?

       "Nicki, don't tell me you're going to keep him!?" Dustin shouted angrily as he saw Dakota exiting Nicki's closet. Nicki crossed her arms and snapped, "Well, what else do you want me to do? I wanna keep him."
       Dakota stared at Nicki and Dustin evenly and added in, "For the record, I don't even wanna be here. I should be back at home--my mother will be furious when she learns that Evan let me get taken."
       Nicki shrugged and retorted to Dustin, "Look, I say we get him on our side. It could work! You know, like in 'Lion Kin II' or in um....any other Disney movie!"
       Dustin threw his hands up in the air and hissed, "This isn't a Disney movie, Nicki. It's real life. You'd be better off learning about it and thinking that you can change anyone or anything. You're wrong. You can't do anything about it. So send the freak back home so we can change our home."
        "No." Nicki replied indignantly. "I'm not sending him back until we get him on our side. Then he can see both sides of the story and see which side he truly wants to be on."
        Dustin frowned once more and then threw Dakota a dark glare. He didn't like that his best friend was spending all of her time with Dakota, always telling him her story and everyone else's, treating him like he belonged. As if they actually wanted him here, instead of sending him back home or killing it. It was ridiculous! Nicki was being ridiculous. Dustin snorted in disbelief and then stormed out of Nicki's bedroom, slamming the door.
       He ignored everyone as he walked into the kitchen, pulling out plates and food, banging them down on the counter violently and then shouted, "Where does she get off, acting all high and mighty and keeping him!? He doesn't deserve any of her attention! I do!"

New Arrivals

       Dustin and Nicki were talking together, practicing a few minor spells and such, when Ayla and Dustin came up. "We found some more!" Ryan said, his eyes shining brightly with excitement.
       "More what? Chocolate bars?" Dustin asked as he threw his Hershey's wrapper on the ground. Nicki narrowed her eyes and snapped, "Don't litter!"
       "Right--sorry," Dustin said, pointing his index finger at the wrapper and grinning as it erupted into flames and quickly reduced to ash. He looked back pointedly at Ryan and Ayla and repeated his question. "More what, you guys?"
       "More of us!" Ryan grinned, his smile stretching. Dustin and Nicki eyed each other carefully and turned to Ayla. "Is that right?" Nicki asked, her dark eyes piercing Ayla. The older girl shrugged and mumbled, "Yeah. We did."
       "Where are they?"
       "In the house, Dustin. Chatting. Eating, I think."
       "You let them in the house, Ayla?"
       "Yes, Nicki. Is that such a problem?"
       The girl shrugged. "Whatever. Let's go say hi, Dustin."
       Ayla and Ryan waited as Nicki and Dustin stood, then walked back inside the house. There, a few teenagers were lounging around, conversing and munching on snacks, although they immediately stopped when Ayla and Ryan walked in.
       Nicki eyed the group carefully and then clapped her hands together. "So, who do we have here?" She asked.

       Dear Alado,
       I'm sorry I've been neglecting this blog, I've had a lot happening lately, and to top it all off, I got sick. But now that I'm better, I am going to create a c-box, try to advertise, and I will find a background. Also, it's not that hard to log onto FB and to send me a quick message, or even bother me on Twitter, during the middle of one of our 'arguements' :) As for my character, I though Silver would fit her best, and you were so conveniently talking to me when I was making my character.

First off I'd like to inform you that we need to advertise this blog, add a cbox, and find a background (I put a temporary one on for now :D). I didn't know how to reach you since I'm to lazy to sign into facebook and message you so I though I'd post on our blog. I also love how you convieniently used my last name for your Nicki character ;)
